Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse oversees client care and caregiver skills. The nurse provides professional care to the client as indicated by the Agency policies, State, and Federal laws/regulations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Meeting with clients and their families for initial consultations 
• Performing initial client assessments
• Coordinating and organizing a customized care plan for clients
• Performing monthly visits to clients 
• Reassessing clients if their care needs change
• Training  and overseeing the skills of our care team 

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in the home care industry
• 5+ years working as a nurse
• A nurse who is a self-starter
• A nurse who is detailed oriented
• A nurse who is a team player
• A nurse who is proficient with technology
• A nurse who is comfortable working on the front line

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through the State of Maryland Board of Nursing
• Driver’s License
• Current CPR certification
• Current PPD / TB test results (results must be read within the last year)
• Driving Record
• Adequate car insurance

 

This role reports to the Director of Operations.
