Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/ Personal Care
CNA's provide services to individuals in their homes and communities who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability and/ or other inflictions. CNA's are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards. All CNA's will be supervised by an RN.
Assistance with activities of daily living, including, but not limited to:
- Vital signs
- Assessment of patient's condition
- Personal hygiene
- Bathroom use
- Light housekeeping
- Simple wound care
What qualifications are required?
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB/PPD Results
- Valid Drivers License
- Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant through the State of Maryland
